John says we have known and believed the love that God has for us. We can believe the love, that whole motivation behind Jesus going to the cross. We also need to know the profound distinction that not only did God so love the world, but that God so loved us. That personalized and individual love from God connects us on a more intimate level with Him and impacts our faith – Believe God’s Love.
